For more than 3 decades Tony DADA has been a nurturer and investor in Talented People. Through his Heart Centred, Purpose Driven companies he has provided a launchpad for those with an entrepreneurial spirit but who are often disadvantaged and underserved in society, e.g women, ethnic minority groups, young people, creatives and social entrepreneurs.  

Tony has played a supportive and nurturing role in the lives of thousands of talented creatives across the UK.   In some cases his early support aided their confidence which led to a meteoric rise to success, such as Brenda Edwards whose talent led her to the theatre and eventually TV as one of the hosts of “Loose Women”, boy band “JLS” whose talent led them to chart-topping success and a collective fortune of £20M, Alexandra Burke who went on to win X-Factor and comedian and TV Actor Richard Blackwood to name a few. All this whilst raising two young children as a single parent.

Tony is a conscious entrepreneur who is all about positive impact. He is also a singer, songwriter and award-winning author. His passion for nurturing, empowering and investing in people was partly inspired by his spiritual mentor Dr. Bro Ishmael Tetteh who upon meeting Tony back in 1983, then homeless, jobless and seeking direction in life, introduced him to Universal Laws and principles of Success.

Tony has staged a number of projects which have been either supported or sponsored by organisations such as The UK Home Office, the London Mayor's Office, The British Army, Island records, Yamaha, Channel 4, Lend Lease, Sodexo, NatWest Bank, The Prince's Trust and many others. This journey began on 1st March 1992 when Tony  staged and hosted his first series of weekly events providing a platform for artists called “Singers Paradise”. Within 6 weeks the event reached capacity forcing Tony to move to a bigger venue.

Within 6 months he was staging his first concert to an audience of 600 Capacity and within another 3 months he was approached by Southwark Council to run a stage for 2 days at their annual Burgess Park festival. This led to Southwark Council then sponsoring a season of weekly showcase nights which featured and showcased talented singers, musicians and comedians.

From this point Tony never looked back. His platform was used by artists such as Floetry, Meggaman and “Swiss” from “The So Solid Crew”, Freddie “Krugga''Nwaka, MOBO Gospel artist Raymond & Co, and Lurine Cato, Comedians Gina Yashere, Rudi Lickwood and “Slim” to name a few. All Of these talented creatives used this platform to hone their craft in the early stages of their career.

1995 saw him running a talent competition across London “Urban Voice” 1999 saw his events  attracting people from across the country 2000 saw expansion to a National event sponsored by the Voice Newspaper,  Choice FM, Nandos to name a few. “Urban Voice National Talent search”

In 2004 Tony was approached by the head of the Music Department at South Thames College  to help set up a new Department which would become part of a consortium of 400 Beacon colleges across the UK that each received £500,000 each. The college was given 6 months to appoint someone to achieve clear results in order to secure the funding. Tony took up the role to head up the department and gained the status required within the time span.  This led to him being invited to a private meeting with the Head of Apple UK where they discussed amongst many things the challenges within the education system to support career aspiration into employment.

It was at this meeting that the vision for the DADA organisation and Success Academy was born. In 2012 Tony received an award from Boris Johnson (the then Mayor of London), for his Outstanding Contribution to Improving London and The Quality of Life for Londoners. In 2013 he wrote his book “The Grow Personal Success (GPS) System”, which was the title of his first programme delivered through the academy.

This programme was designed to help people identify and pursue a career path that was in alignment with their values and vision, as well as help them live more authentically, gain clarity, identify passion and purpose and finally learn how to actualise their vision. The GPS system has helped thousands of individuals tap into their natural Gifts, Talents and Abilities, so that they can “Begin to create the life they love and get paid whilst living it”. As a result of working with Tony, many people have gone on to form a business doing what they love as Conscious Entrepreneurs.

Tony launched the first Conscious  Entrepreneurs Annual Conference, celebrating a 10 year partnership with NatWest Bank supporting Conscious Entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities. This year’s conference has grown with an increase in the number of speakers and panellists, a new series of post conference masterclasses for both attendees and the general public delivered by some of the expert speakers and panellists with  exclusive courses exclusively through the DADA Success Academy.

We are also proud to be joined by sponsors Real Ventures, a VC firm based in Montreal founded by John Stokes who met Tony earlier this year at a Conscious Entrepreneurs Conference in Colorado. Both Tony and John quickly saw an opportunity to work together as allies as Real Ventures  are actively pursuing their vision to raise 75M to invest in a Global Network of Conscious Entrepreneurs which is aligned with Tony's vision to grow a global community of 7 million Conscious Entrepreneurs by 2030.
