Years before X-Factor came to our screens I approached Britain’s biggest black newspaper and Britain’s biggest black radio station to pitch the concept of a national talent competition.
I invited them to collaborate with me on my dream to empower some of societies most disadvantaged individuals, our youth.
They could not see what I saw, so they just laughed at me.
I went ahead and did it anyway.
Later, they became sponsors of the project.
As a result of this project artists such as Richard Blackwood, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, JLS, Stylo G, Andreya Triana, Tinnie Tempah and a host of others benefited from this dream and vision.
My dream just got clearer and whether you believe it or not, the world has changed forever. YOU simply may not have realised it yet.
This means if you are trying to live life based on old beliefs like “a job for life”, life is going to be a painful experience because your beliefs just don’t match reality any more.
Global companies have realised that far from simply thinking about how much money is in the bank people are waking up to the importance of “quality of life” in all it’s dimensions.
Are you brave and willing enough to “keep it real with yourself”, daring to and enquire and ask yourself questions like “Am I truly happy with the quality of my life?”
If the answer is no and you take positive action, you will open up a whole new life for yourself.
